RTL profits surge, Uber to launch content marketplace & Facebook launches 360 VR app: this week in media

RTL revenues surge as they ‘commit to digital'

Luxembourg-based RTL announced their 2016 financial numbers, highlighting a 31.9% growth in digital revenue at €670 with digital now making up 10% of all revenues.  RTL’s overall full annual revenue was up €6.2 billion with EBITA up 3.8% at €1.4 billion.  Read more on DigitalTVEurope >>

Uber set to launch content market place

Vox + Conde join voices in ad sales
